Jean-Marc Brocard, born into a family of farmers in the Côte d’Or, left agriculture to become an engineer. His life took a new turn when he met his future wife and her family—winemakers in Saint-Bris-le-Vineux—who introduced him to the vine.  The winery was founded in 1973.
His passion grew stronger thanks to Louis Petit, a seasoned winegrower who patiently and wisely shared his knowledge. Under his guidance, Jean-Marc learned to respect the land and natural cycles, mastering the art of letting the vine speak for itself.
Born in 1973, Julien joined the family vineyard in 1995 to work alongside his father, after completing his engineering studies.
Beginning in 1997, he developed a deep interest in biodynamics and its ancestral methods, which he began applying to a Chablis parcel: the Domaine de la Boissonneuse.
Today, the family vineyard is one of the leading estates in Chablis and Burgundy cultivating its vines using organic farming practices.
