A well-rounded Sauvignon Blanc, displaying intense lemon and lime flavours, with tropical floral influence and some cut grass notes showing complexity and spice. Lovely palate weight and a touch of fruit sweetness, balanced by a structural edge with acidity providing a backbone on which the fruit can hang. Persistent and refreshing. A fridge door classic.
Since Ant Moore moved to New Zealand in 2002, he has become a key part of the Marlborough region (despite being an Aussie!). He has planted and developed five excellent vineyards, each with its own microclimate and terroir demonstrating Marlborough’s diversity, and all now certified by the Sustainable Wine growing New Zealand programme. This Sauvignon Blanc is part of Ant’s ultra-premium range of wines, produced from small parcels of fruit selected from the Wairau Valley.
