Château Lestrille Capmartin is located at the northern point of the Entre-deux-Mers appellation in the small town of St. Germain du Puch between Libourne and Bordeaux. Following the philosophy that winemaking lies in the vineyard itself, sustainable winegrowing practices are used in order to respect the balance of the soil. Talented winemaker Estelle Roumage combines strict selection, with a tailor-made approach to vinification. Each parcel is vinified with minimal intervention to respect and optimise the characteristics of the vintage and terroir, with subtle oak ageing, creating charming wines with the utmost appeal. The estate is certified Haute Valeur Environmentale (HVE) Level 3.

WHAT THE EXPERTS SAY

“Deep blackish crimson. Very healthy colour still. Some attractive evolution on the nose. Sweet, fruity with fleshy, meaty, mature Merlot notes on the palate. Lots of interest here. Long and rich. Some tannins still but the fruit tastes as though it is at its peak. VGV.” (2010 vintage, tasted 2017) 16 points
