The Durup family – under the directorship of Jean Durup’s son, Jean-Paul – are the largest private landowners in Chablis. Based in Maligny, they now have some 155 hectares under vine. Always great proponents of Chablis, they make their wine without the influence of oak and everything is vinified and matured in inert tanks to maximise the expression of the fruit.
