Cantina Sacchetto is located in the heart of the Veneto region. Founded in 1920, today it is run by Filiberto Sacchetto, alongside his son Paolo and daughter Beatrice – they oversee all aspects of the winemaking process. In 2022 Sacchetto was awarded the Equalitas Certification which officially recognises social, environmental and economic pillars of sustainability, through biodiversity, carbon and water footprint and ecological cultivation practices.
The grapes for this wine are grown in the province of Veneto, which is situated between the Gulf of Venice and the Alps. The Glera grapes are renowned for producing elegant sparkling wines and have been deftly blended with other local varieties to create this unique wine. Tai is the new synonym for the variety formerly known as Tocai Friulano; it produces wines with delicate apricot, citrus and honeyed aromas with almond nuances. The Verduzzo variety imparts structure and Pinot Bianco provides a light, crisp element to this delightful blend.
